Project Overview: A 5 star rated project for a Livable Luxury dining room. My clients requested their space be inviting and great for entertaining throughout the year. During the design concepting phase I made sure to learn my clients “must haves” and dislikes. One of their special requests was photography artwork. I later found out that they also had a love for legendary Jazz musicians, such as Frank Sinatra and Louis Armstrong. “And I thought to myself” wouldn’t it be great to make them be a part of the design but not entirely focusing on their musical talents. I found artwork of the icons individually interacting with a plate full of spaghetti. What a perfect find! Also upon more research, I learned these two had recorded  music together, “Birth of the Blues,” which was a major hit in 1952.  As a surprise element within the design, I added an extra photo of their musical collaboration.

The overall design was luxe modern and consisted of multiple textures, patterns and blends of colors. The rich blue wall color gave the entire room a boost of vibrancy.  The black distressed wood sideboard’s hardware included the same chestnut vegan leather as the multi layered dining chairs. The solid pine table finished in a classic black showcased enlarged accessories and florals. The faux greenery gave the room a fresh look.
